Tower (2016) - 7/10
This follows the traditional Hollywood recipe of man meets rifle, man likes rifle, man climbs a clock tower and starts taking out passers by using said rifle. Except this is based on real events from 1966 in Texas. This is an animated reenactment of some good old home-grown terrorism from back in the day using genuine witness testimony and archive footage. My only disappointment was that his motives for the attack weren't really mentioned. And in a world where today we're fed that simply being brown is motivation enough for these sort of assaults, the reasons for such an attack so many years ago would have been interesting.
