In 1864, the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution abolished slavery except as punishment for a crime. But the leaders of the freeworld still needed cheap labour to keep the economy going. So what did they do? They made criminals out of as many people as possible. And when I say people, I obviously mean blacks. Small acts were criminalised and black people were portrayed as criminals throughout American media. This really took off in 1970s with the war on blacks drugs and prison populations soared. Now prison labour is a huge money maker for many rich white people and the corrupt system is still being used to oppress black people. And with the likes of Trump in power, things are only going to get worse.
