Where the Crawdads Sing (2022) - 5/10
This is a retelling of the classic story of Swamp Girl falling in love. I know you may be sick to the back teeth of these Swamp Girl stories but at least it's not another fucking Marvel film. I jest of course, because Swamp Girl? What?! I am making sense, I promise you, but to see the sense I'm making you'd have to watch it, which, to be honest, I don't heartily recommend. If you're into love stories, or murder mysteries, or swamps, then crack on. But I'm not big on any, really, so it left me less than impressed. And this is usually the point where I say that they could have got a fitter bird, but come on, how fit can a Swamp Girl really be?
