The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck (2023) - 7/10
I've wanted to read this book for ages, but I have two young kids, a full-time job, a hectic dating/fucking/ghosting schedule, and a crippling porn addiction. So finding the time is a struggle. Plus I genuinely have about 100 books on Audible ready to listen to and just as many digital books to read on my Kindle. So I do the most sensible and adult thing about having lots to do... I just ignore it and hope it goes away. A bit like all those dates I've fucked and got bored of, actually. Anyway, that's enough about me. I enjoyed this. Not necessarily from the self-help point of view as I am quite clearly too far gone on that front, but just on the listening-to-a-man-whos-been-through-it point of view. He's learned a lot from his experiences, which is more than I can say for myself at this stage. I'd quite like to have a beer with him so I can unload all my shit onto him and see if he has any advice for me. You should watch it.
