Oppenheimer (2023) - 7/10
This is a fascinating story of incredibly clever men - yes, the world was momunmentally misogynistic back then - pushing the absolute boundaries of human knowledge and capability, trying to outsmart and outwit each other in order to build a world-altering weapon of war. You should absolutely see it. However, I was left a little disappointed. There is a whole story arc that I would have omitted entirely from the film, which would have made it much shorter and much more entertaining, in my humble opinion. But I understand why it's in there, because it is is a massive part of his story. The use of sound and silence throughout is a marvel though.
