The Bus: A French Football Mutiny (2026) - 7/10

If I was being polite about Raymond Domenech, I'd call him extravagant. If I wasn't, I could think of one or two other words. And this film details that in pretty precise fashion. The film revisits the French football team's controversial 2010 World Cup, where the drama is off the pitch rather than on it, and the fallout that comes from it. Domenech acts like the lead part in a Shakespearean tragedy where his only methods of communication are passive aggression, staring with intent and brutal ignorance. It's a bit of a Who Done It where you're left to decipher who's the biggest twat. I enjoyed it.
