The Hurt Locker (2008) - 2/10
Guy round to fix the boiler for an old dear, she has a parrot & a bulldog, hes worried about the dog but she swears to him the dog is fine just dont say anything to the parrot. Guy thinks this is easy then & starts work, first day he gets shit, calling him ugly & useless, second day it continues, more shit, third day the bird starts to rip his wife, this is the end for the guy, turns to the bird & screams, "shut up u fucking stupid bird" the parrot replies "Max, get him". This joke > this film.

The Hurt Locker (2008) - 2/10
I just dont know what happened to this movie.. I really am confused.. Did I miss something? Let me first explain that I am first and foremost a horror fan but any warfilm usually comes in close behind.. After watching 10 mins I thought, is right, another classic.. To say the rest of the film was an anticlimax is a huge understatement.. I just dont see the point in it.. Very weak and very boring.. "Dont believe the hype."
The Hurt Locker (2008) - 4/10
The makers of this film did about as good a job of making it as the US military did of invading Iraq, and we all know how much they fucked that up. Do you see my point? Actually, it's not that bad, it just goes nowhere. It's just some cocky dick'ead getting extremely lucky and defusing loads of bombs. Why it's so highly rating by the critics I do not know. Maybe it's just the Yanks and their 'America, fuck yeah!' attitude. I was thoroughly bored by the end.
The Hurt Locker (2008) - 7/10
This filmed was widely commented to be the greatest war film of all time. Lots of prestigious nominations. Whilst I admit it was clearly an above average film, I was a little dissapointed. After a promising start, when the only actor I had heard of was blown to pieces, their just wasn't enough hurt in the locker after all.
