Rounders (1998) - 7/10
This film is about a guy that knows how to play poker. I wish I could play poker. I always told myself that I was just a bit unlucky at a poker table, but one of the messages delivered in this film is that it's got very little to do with luck, and that it is, in fact, a skill game. Great, so next time I'm having a game at my mate's house and I lose my last chip with 10 cans of a 12 crate still cooling in the fridge I'll not be able to convince myself that I was just unlucky. Nice one, Hollywood.

It shows the game in a very glamourous way when also showing the lows that can be experienced, the oh so fucking lows, oh my god whyyyyy did I go all in on a pair?? Thats it I've lost the house and the car.. "C'mon luv, lets get you workin the streets again" I love poker!
