Enemy At The Gates (2001) - 7/10
Russian sniper Vassili Zaitsev (Jude Law) is one crack shot, Ze Germans are not happy, there're getting their arses handed to them by this guy. So what do you do, you send your best sniper after him, sniper vs sniper, kind of like Spy Vs Spy on the Amiga when you where kids, remember that shit, bombs in filing cabinets and stuff, quality fun. Anyway I digress, cat and mouse game ensues with people getting their shit blown away everywhere. Not bad at all but the range of accents is utter comedy.
Enemy At The Gates (2001) - 6/10
Vasily Zaytsev was like some sort of Soviet superhero back in 1942. He could spot a German soldier blinking behind the rubble of a destroyed building from a mile away. Moments after blinking that German soldier had a hole where his face used to be, or so this film would have you believe. It's been utterly Hollywood'd to death, obviously, but it's entertaining enough.
