Synecdoche, New York (2008) - 5/10
Essentially this film is about how depressing life is, following the tragic story of a man as his relationships, and his body, fall to pieces. The majority of it is surreal. I don't even know what to rate it. It's one of those films that leaves you feeling something, but unsure as to what exactly. Maybe you'll question your own life - your own decisions - or maybe you'll just question why anyone bothered to make this film at all. It is a peculiar one. One that I'm sure most people won't like.
