Its interesting that the kids of the Wall Street age are now all grown up and driving Maserati's blowing peoples retirements on none exisitent stock or fixing rates and shit. Champayne anyone? Greed is good eh, indeed.
Wall Street (1987) - 5/10
This is definitely a grown up film. I don't mean that there's lots of flesh, sexing and profanity. I mean that there's lots of financial mumbo jumbo that is tough to understand as an adult, nevermind as a child. So when I watched this back in the day I didn't really get it. And you know what, I still don't enjoy it much now. A couple of Gordan Gekko's monologues are excellent, but that's about it. I watch films to be inspired, invigorated, or, at least, entertained. I don't want a maths lesson.
