Not the best remake but worth a watch.

Basically back in the day people used to believe that there was some omnipotent beings living in the sky, looking down on the human race, and controlling their lives through fortune and, when necessary, penance. Ridiculous I know. As if people in today's world of science would believe any such thing! Aside from that, it's a quite enjoyable CGI-fest, to be honest. And there are a few changes to the original storyline, which you may find refreshing.
