Centurion (2010) - 5/10
Trying to enjoy films like these, which are so similar to Gladiator, must be akin to how an ex-boyfriend of Megan Fox's feels whilst he's trying to find himself a good looking girl to fall in love with. No matter how good it is, it just isn't going to compare, is it? Gladiator was just so fucking perfect that anything else will be inferior. It does have a solid British cast, though, and does a fairly good job of splashing the blood around.
Centurion (2010) - 7/10
Set in Britain near the border of Hadrian's wall (between Scotland and England) around 117 A.D. Essentially about a Roman soldier that gets lost behind the picts enemy lines and the search and rescue team that go to collect him. Few surprises and plenty of violence.
