I first saw this film, rated 18, when I was 13, which coincidentally is right about the time that my childhood innocence died, and therefore I fucking loved it.

Its all here folks, the 7 deadly sins, murder, mystery, Morgan Freeman for the interlectuals, Brad Pitt for the ladies, Gwyneth Paltrow for the boys and Kevin Spacey for the sitting-around-reading-"Guns-and Ammo"-masturbating-in-your-own-feces type.

I feel like a right fucking tit. Call myself a film fan and it's taken me seventeen years to watch Se7en, possibly the best film I've ever seen. How I managed to avoid any spoilers in all that time, I don't know, but I'm still a prick.

"What sick ridiculous puppets we are, and what a gross little stage we dance on. What fun we have dancing and fucking. Not a care in the world. Not knowing that we are nothing. We are not what was intended."

This film is dark and moody, I love the fact it's always raining and miserable and the ending is amazing, has to be in my top 3 ever.

Everything about the film is amazing, right up until the end.. The ending of this film depressed me for weeks, maybe even a month after watching it.. When a film can do that, somebody got something right.
