End Of Watch (2012) - 7/10
So America has lost the war drugs. Not since BetaMax took on VHS has anyone been as heavily defeated. This film does an excellent job of documenting the symptoms of that, and you see what can happen when the police try to take on gangbangers who are more militarised than North Korea. Mostly at a good pace with a couple of slower parts - just like my love making - it gives a glimpse into the work the police do in the ghettos, the relationships they form and the risks they take.
