The Hurricane (1999) - 8/10

It only takes one word to sum this film up, Fantastic! Based on a true story about a young man who is part of the US Navy who has really bad anger problems. As the film goes on, he goes to see a physiciatrist like figure (Denzel Washington) who he starts to open up to (no, not literally! lol). You find out as the film goes on why exactly this young man acts the way he does and it's one of them films that brings a tear to your eye! I would definitely reccomend!!
American Gangster (2007) - 9/10
Really enjoyable and violent film thats right up my street! Based on a true story about the well known American Gangster Frank Lucas who works his way up to the very top then right back down to the very bottom. Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe give magnificent performances as the Bad Guy and the Good Guy. The film becomes a bit of a cat and mouse chase between the two and it keeps you well and truly interested from start to finish. You'd be a fool to miss this one, TRUST ME!
Blood Diamond (2006) - 9/10
I never really digged Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor but this film changed my mind!! I found it absolutely brilliant from start to finish and it really gives you an insight in to what Africans really went through and probably still go through to find these expensive diamonds! DiCaprio gives a brilliant performance alongside his African accent and it's definitely a film to see. I've seen it about 5 times now so it must be a gooden! lol.
