The Martian (2015) - 8/10
This guy gets stranded on Mars with very little water, food or oxygen and has to Science up some way of staying alive until the rescue mission arrives, which will only take a few fucking years. If your mum and dad ever left you alone in the house for a few days as a teenager, you'll know exactly how he felt. You may have ran out of cash for take out and ran out of milk for cereal but you didn't have grow an entire crop of potatoes in your living room, did you? Being a man of Science, I thought this was great.
