Far From The Tree (2017) - 7/10
This is a documentary based on outstanding book of the same name by Andrew Solomon. It's one of my favourite books so I was looking forward to the documentary for ages. The subject matter - children who are born so drastically different to their parents - is a tough one but they are stories that absolutely need telling. This should be mandatory viewing for people wanting - or those already with - a family. It serves as a warning that despite your best efforts, you do not have full control of how your children will turn out.
