This is about the pressures of being married, of making ends meet and of getting by. And the impact all that has on your children. It's told brilliantly from the perspective of a teenager as he sees his parents suffer with their jobs, with their pride and eventually with their relationship. It demonstrates well the confusion the young lad is feeling as he tries to make sense of an adult world in which the two closest people to him go to war with each other and with themselves.
