Poltergeist (1982) - 6/10
This is an OG horror so I'm doing it a slight disservice giving it a 6, but it has aged somewhat in the last f-fucking what?! Forty years?! Jesus. I remember watching it as a kid. That means, that, yep, I'm old. Anyone of a certain age will remember this as the film where the creepy little kid gets stuck in the telly and the tree comes alive and tries to eat the lad. But mostly, everyone remembers this for Tangina. She absolutely steals the show, and still does when you watch it now. A superb character portrayed brilliantly. All in all, a tremendously silly, OTT horror, but absolutely worth another watch. And the Poltergeist Curse (<a href='https://www.google.com/search?q=Poltergeist+curse' target='_blank'>look it up</a>) makes it even creepier.
