Sleepers (1996) - 8/10
Is it a true story or is it not? No-one really knows. It's based on a book which the author claims is true, but all the relevant authorities have denied. But then again, they would, because some of the stuff it suggests happened at that young offenders institute are beyond fucked up. It hits a nerve though, because everyone knows shit like this does happen to some unfortunate kids somewhere in the world; in fact, is more than likely happening right now, as you read this.
