The Hurricane (1999) - 8/10
So someone shoots up a bunch of drinkin' folk in a bar one night and the cops do the only sensible thing: they find themselves a black guy to blame. It just so happens that the black guy they pin it on is boxing champion Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter, and an entirely white jury surprisingly find him guilty, although they do stop short of hanging him from a tree. It is excellent, and based on a true story, so well worth your time. Plus, Bob Dylan wrote a fucking brilliant song about it too.
