Friday (1995) - 6/10
This film taught an exceedingly white, teenage me everything I needed to know about being black and growing up in the 'hood. Not that cash-money-bitches shit that was, and still is, sprouted from all those rappers. It's basically Chris Tucker and Ice Cube interacting with neighbors, friends, and drug dealers, and trying to out-black each other in the process. There are some quality laughs in this, especially from Tucker, who is just outstanding.
