Fracture (2007) - 7/10
I played chess against this old guy once. He distracted me with his experiences. It was all back-in-my-day-this and Vietnam-that, until - before I'd even realised it - he had me in checkmate. He sat there, chatting shit, noting my strategies, figuring out my game, all the while going on and on about his life, tricking me into thinking he was too occupied with entertaining, whilst he secretly planned my destruction. This guy was a master. I had no choice, I took my beating, and walked away a better man for it. This film is a bit like that.
