The Cider House Rules (1999) - 7/10
This is a film about self-discovery and learning through experiences, and had a pretty big effect on me when I watched it as a teenager. It's about a young man who is raised in an orphanage to be a doctor, but, when he is old enough, he decides to leave medicine behind to learn about the world and his place in it. It actually made me consider leaving my life behind to go and work in an apple orchard, but alas, I didn't, and look at me now: working a 9-5 and making penis jokes on a film review website.
