Why do a film about the life of Hunter S. Thompson, I hear you ask? Well firstly, he was an exceptional writer with an interesting life, and secondly, because he's too dead to give a shit. And there you have it. Plus, someone managed to talk Johnny Depp into doing the voice-over, and that's an opportunity that can't be missed.
