This is about the boredom of dating in long-term relationships and how couples feel the need to continue to do it out of some sort of misplaced tradition. Neither of you actually want to go out for a meal, do you? Why don't you just stay at home fighting over the TV remote and letting the contempt you feel for each other grow? If the kids are asleep you might even get lucky, although I'm not so sure what is lucky about 3 minutes of putting your dick into the plain, obese shell of the girl you once foolishly thought you cared for.
