Battle: Los Angeles (2011) - 6/10
When I first heard of this I assumed it would be another Bloods vs Crips drama about wrong choices, young death and loyalty. Then someone told me it was about aliens and I pictured a bunch of gun-toting E.T.s waltzing out of their big-ass steel spaceship wearing entirely the wrong colour bandanas and doing entirely the wrong hang signals and getting their little green arses handed to them by a united Blood/Crips gang that took time from their usual schedule of murder, robbery, drug trafficking and extortion to defend their home city. It wasn't like that, but it was entertaining enough.
